a healthy and happy gastrointestinal tract is vital to achieve a healthy body & mind
A healthy and happy gut is vital to achieve a healthy body
Happy and healthy bowels are the pillars for our body and the cornerstone for your entire feeling of vitality and energy and health and well-being. The digestive system is an amazing organ that turns the food that we eat into the cells of our body and the energy that we feel. It is made up of a digestive tract that is a long tube that runs through the centre of us, from the mouth to the outside world with other organs close-by supporting its function including the pancreas, liver and gall-bladder. The importance of a healthy gut microbiome is fast becoming the most fascinating research in medical and nutrition science at the moment, and the connections that the microbiome has with the health of an individual goes far beyond optimal digestive health. Researchers are finding vital links with immunity, auto-immune disease, prevention of cardiovascular disease, allergies, mood disorders and inflammatory conditions. When the digestive system works the way that it is supposed to, you feel fabulous, vibrant and full of energy. If there is a chink in its armour or in its supporting systems that can be brought on by stress, medications, infections, the food and drink choices that we make and life’s frantic pace – your body is the first to let you know with symptoms such as
- Bloating and abdominal distention
- Excess wind
- Reflux or indigestion
- Abdominal discomfort and pain
- Diarrhoea and/or constipation
- Unpredictable bowel habits
- Unexplained fatigue (when all other possibilities are ruled out)
- Difficulty with losing weight, regardless of what you do

Rachael will work closely with you to ensure you reach your optimal health with nourishing nutrition and happy bowels.
